Club Overview

Since the Clubs inception in 1953 in excess of 1000 Ocean Rescues have been carried out at Sunset Beach. It is interesting to note that over the decades of changes in the Club there have been a nucleus of members who are still active and in some families we are into three generations of Members. Sunset is richer for these people and the future of the Club is in safe hands. The members of Sunset and their families can be proud of the role they play every season.
